About me
I am an incoming Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I received a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2024, and a B.S. degree in Traffic Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University in 2018. My research interests encompass the application of diverse techniques from optimization, control, economics, and machine learning to foster efficient, sustainable, and equitable mobility ecosystems. My research primarily focuses on the design, modeling, and analysis of shared mobility systems, including ride-hailing, autonomous mobility-on-demand, shared micromobility, etc. Specifically, my recent works have centered around the regulation of shared mobility in interaction with public transport within multimodal transportation systems, with a particular emphasis on transport equity.
